Amanda Bittner is an award-winning painter and Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Endicott College. She holds an MFA in Painting from Boston University and a BFA in Painting and Art Education from Montserrat College of Art. Her work explores the intersection of observation and abstraction. Amanda's art has been exhibited widely across the Northeast, including recent solo shows at the Southern Vermont Art Center and Bromfield Gallery, and her pieces can be found in private collections worldwide. Amanda’s creative practice and insights are shared with a wide audience through her popular online blog, which boasts over 25,000 followers. Most recently, Amanda spent the month of January in residence at Millay Arts in Austerlitz, New York.
As a dedicated educator, Amanda is passionate about guiding artists of all levels. She brings her engaging teaching style to institutions and organizations such as the deCordova Museum, Montserrat College of Art, the Cambridge Art Association, and the Sedona Arts Center.
